Hello
This page is best viewed with a black background.
This was me on Halloween 2004.
BIOMy introduction to art was when I was around the age of 5. My older brother Eric could draw very well and the idea of creating my own world that I had complete control over was a most enthralling concept. I soon would draw all of the time and through out my life have been in persuit of many artforms, all of which give me a different satisfaction.
People say I look young for my age. I love getting carded for cigarettes and beer still. I just turned 32 last June 7. I live to get inspired and create. Any kind of art is almost of interest to me. I enjoy sculpting, painting, and photography just to name a few, that's why I love the computer with the ability to do all of it with less mess.
I have a wife and son. Christine and Christian and my name's is Christopher, so it's not too hard to remember 3 Chris's. I feel like I've made a few quality friends here. It's great to have common ground with others and communicate about my biggest passion. . . "art"
I poor all of myself into all of what I do. I am more sensative than most which enables a high degree of being able to observe the world. I feel swallowed and hurt by it most of the time, but I am here to help and befriend those that need it most. Those that aren't afraid to feel and express their beautiful emotions in this world are the ones that impress me.

in much the style of impressionism you use in your painter portraits... colorful & dramatic! kudos for getting out from behind the screen & tackling the canvas!! :] hugz

Oh Chris I love it!..... nothing quite like the feeling of slapping paint on canvas and getting all messy.... This image looks like one hell of a storm! PS: I can imagine how cute you looked with your little beret, and dashing French accent while working on this one. Oui, oui, monsieur jus de coq.

You "splashed" very well. So much life and drama, the poor ship has not much of a chance here. Above all this is vibrating with your joy of painting it!

LOL, oh I love your tale of this, and it does look like you had a lot of fun in the painting. And who is to say it doesn't belong up there with the master impressionists? I see the stormy sky, the splashing waves, the rocking ship - yet somehow the colors seem cheerful and pleasant, so I think the storm passed quickly. :)

I'm speechless...this truly evokes the violence of a storm at sea...and a sailors delight in facing it...please to more!
