Description
My first landscape! A bit more complicated than abstracts; I was a bit apprehensive to try it. I got the idea from a most excellent tutorial by Jonathan Allen. Not quite what I was looking for; I really should put it in the WIP gallery; oh well. The seaweed and all the little bits are terrains. Comments, critisism, and nitpicking are always appreciated. Happy viewing.

I really like the setting and lighting. So much for the pleasantries. The waves seem very peculiar, and the water seems to be made of milk where it joins the rock. On the seaweed, try breaking up the reflective points to prevent it from looking like plastic. Really though, I love it and it will probably be my background for a while. But being an artist myself, I know that praise doesn't help you create better art! (keep up the good work!)

Many thanks for the critisism, I asked for it, and I got it :-). I noticed that myself and am at the moment trying to find some way to fix it. As for the seaweed, I got momentarily frustrated and submitted the image as-is; I will resubmit it when I've fixed all the problems.

I have been working with Bryce since it came out. What you did as your first landscape is fenomenal. Keep up the good job!

I like the composition, it mostly seems to come together... the rocks have a bit of a wafer like shape. the water feels good.....well done.

Yes, I like the other one better; it seems more finished, but the waves on this piece have a bit more life.keep up the good work; not terrible at all for your first landscape. Cheers, mate.
