Description
- New render etc. as suggested of a previously posted picture. Filesize is of course much larger, so was the render time (14 hrs. 30 min. - in "Ultra")
Technical details (copied from the earlier upload):
"...very much a work with texturing exercises.
Watersplash effects made with plants (intertwined seaweeds and 1 grass object) with an additive, transparent texture. I decided NOT to render with DOF, it'll kill the details on the water/salmons. --- Pinetrees from Xfrog. "Chinook" salmon from Toucan, bear from Poser/Zygote, grass made with Bantam3D Grass (free software by "Geese") - thanks.
Postwork for colour/levels with Photoshop (none for the water).
2250 objects, 14 mio. polygons, one light."

I haven't been commenting lately due to being busy with building a couple computers and getting caught up on a few that needed repairs. When I saw this image it is one that I had to comment to. To me this is what Vue is all about. I can see lots of work and detail to accomplish what you have done in this image. If this one doesn't make the Hot 20 then I am to be greatly disappointed. Enough said.........Excellent work with Vue and a vote. :o)

What a lovely scene!!!! What a cool idea about using seaweed & such for splashes & such. Would be great to use as foam as well.

Excelent scene - very realistic - perhaps rock terrains could be more detailled (more polygons) - but whathever - this scene rocks !! ;-))
