Description

There are still a few ideas left which might look good (in my eyes). And some others that are far away from the surprising first symbol.
All patterns are created with the several versions of the ParentAndChild UCL, even the background.

Many thanks to all those who gave me great pleasure with their kind comments to the 1st, the 2nd, and the 3rd part of this series.

Nice one! It is funny how little we need to set our mind in motion. Your images are symbols that instantly are understood (a bit like traffic signs) and we fill in with our own images. This one could make a nice back of plying cards, the background and the bordes make that association.

I like to see the background as the enormous amount of impressions a child has to absorb while it is growing, almost overwhelming! Absolutely fantastic.

Glad you mentioned the background. I immediately liked it but didn't see the patterns. Amazing. This series is starting to get complicated now. Great addition.

And the fourth time is DEFINATELY a charm! Such a wonderful abstracted form of the mother cradling her child. And the intricate background pattern and framing are amazing. Terrific work, Andreas!

To my eyes, this is some kind of Mirmeet-Gustav Klimt. Masterly combination.

You know, I see some relation to religous works here - almost a "Modonna and child" theme, with the successive layers that look to be giving a halo to the mother and child. I'm so glad to see art that makes me THINK here!

Hi FreeJack, you seem to be the first interpreting the repetition of shapes (as it was my only intention) as a halo. And yes - you are definitely right. Thank you for opening my eyes for my own images.

Lovely framing and a very busy piece. I like both this one and the first one the best.
