Jayne is a character based on a couple of different people I've known. The whole image was started after paging through some old photos of friends hanging out in my last bands rehearsal space. The lighting is yet another experiment in using gels to create dynamic lighting, as well as experimenting with reflection maps on non-metallic surfaces. The warm tones of Jayne's skin are actually created by using a gradient map as a reflection map.
