Description

Back again after an incredible 7 days on ski! If I had the skill to make a good/realistic-looking mountain in Vue, I'd have inspiration for the next few years! :) Austria is incredible! As soon as I got home I started working on this one. It was meant as a lighting-test (the foreground), but as it developed I decided to finish it. No gels where used - 37 lights There are 2 versions of it, and I've been having big problems deciding which one I liked the best... My family all voted for this one. The alternate version can be found on my website : www.thomaskrahn.com Thanks for viewing! ...and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it :) Thomas Ohh... thanks a lot to Martin Ernst for the wonderful barrels and pots! They're awesome!

That is the view after how many beers? You shouldn't take the bike anymore!! However, it is a fantastic pov with great blur and light. Extra class as usual.

Welcome back, Thomas! I just returned from Austria myself yesterday evening...did some skiing, too. :) Another awesome image...didn't expect anything less to be honest. ;) The blurry view adds a very neat effect. Bravo!!!

Excellent image. Love the DOF, POV and that subtle tilt. I like both the images. The other gives a window into an inviting place... this one has more detail. Amazing amount of lights. Well done.

Thomas, I believe your cameraman has been drinking :) Both images are excellent as always. I love the stone wall that you made. It is superb! Thank you for doing the alternate version.

I love that the perspective here appears to be that of a human in motion, more than a camera on some virtual tripod. That's how I see it, anyway. Suberb mastery of all things Vue, adding up to fully convincing realism. Top notch work!

Beautiful pic, I like the scene in its whole. Your stones wall, that you often use in your last images, I like it, but it appears a little strange IMO. What technique you have used to it? Ciao.
