Looks great. Like you can see Caesar walking in any moment... Only thing is the helmet looks to me roman, then I would think the map is to accurate, especially the northern parts.

Nice composition, textures and mood. I don't know if it's the Poser render engine or what, shouldn't the map and the pears cast a shadow?

I've seen this before, I think in the TWC mod for Rome:Total War. Cool.
Lucterios
In fact, the map isn't accurate for Roman times. You may have used the Puttinger table... Not a critic, nice work indeed.

A very well rendered interior scene. And probably also the map can be credible. Yes, it's real, Lucterios, the only map today we had of Roman times is the "Tabula Peutingeriana", a later (IV - V Century) copy of map of Agrippa, but it was an "Itinerarium", like a modern railway map with stations and distances in miles. In the "Tabula Peutingeriana" lands are very deformated. But we know ancient Romans were very able with cartography and terrain measurement. (See "Forma Urbis", fragments of city map of Severian period). So, also we don't have any direct proof of it, historicians think the Romans produced also very accurate maps, with exact proportions of lands, and, in fact, similar to modern maps (at least for the European lands). So the map Decadence put in the image can be at 80/90% credible. (I'm not sure only about Scandinavy; i know a greek geograph, Pithea, visited northern europe in the 330 B.C. and reached and described Baltic Sea and polar lights). Anyway, an excellent image, you made great artwork on helmet and fruit loom. Highest rating, 5+++++!!

What would conquerors be without maps. I can imagine that the Roman maps were very accurate, of all of the regions their legions actually went to. Basically measured with their steps. Knowing how organized they were, they probably not only brought engineers (like our construction batallions) with them, but also cartagraphers, who updated charts on the move. Magnificent detail and opulence.
