Description

This is something I've been working on for my Illustration class. Actually I have a lot of art work I've done lately. By hand. Which is a real challenge for me I'm not an illistrator. But I'm certainly learning to. But after watching Chris Langley's new short animation "Ryan". Which he just finished yesterday morning. Then showed to us yesterday evening. It was an awsome privledge, to see this. I'm feeling though now an urge to get better at it all. As it's so important to be able to draw in animation, and digital media. So this is the first one I took into Photoshop to touch up. My teacher will be grading me on it. Opinions from you would be great. If you do not recognize her. It's the Afganian Refugee, who's picture was taken for the National Geographic a few years ago.

Wow. I wish I could sketch this well. The shading and fabric folds are great. Wonderful detail. I think the facial features themselves need a bit more practice, but I'm really amazed. No wonder your 3D works are so much better now. You really are getting an understanding of lighting and picking the right 'look' for your subject.
