This is one of my first attempts at terragen version 0.9 I'm pretty unexperienced still and wouldn't many any comments :)

That's incredible for an early attempt. Super terrain, colours and pov; nice lighting and surfaces and a good use of symmetry!

Unexperienced? Come on! All you need here is: a few more surface layers & maybe slightly different settings for the atmo (try 2D clouds, I think they look better). Very well done.

This is definitely outstanding for a first image. I'd like to see you redo it. The sky is rather dull; try brightening the color. Also, go ahead and put more textures on the surface of these incredible mountains! If you like you can try a different PoV. Oh, and by the way. Your clouds are just fine. Increasing contrast on them might help a little.
