Description
Awaken to a shallow river set down by an overnight rain. Use it wisely before evaporation takes it away.
I am not too happy with the strata; also, too many quadrilaterals have made themselves visible.
This will be the last of Canyon pics for awhile. We need to move on to other terrains.

Once again, I am going to try to be as critical as I can with your work, mainly because I appreciate it so much. Your lighting as always is phonominal, as is your great use of haze. There is one single thing that bothers me, and i'm not sure if it's the texturing, or the POV, or what, but I can't feel secure about what the size of everything is. The forground makes me feel I am standing and looking down at these small rocks and very shallow pool, but the background makes me want to believe that the scenary is huge and majestic. Maybe something to think about. This being said, I rank it excellent and truely believe it. I love your work. Please keep them coming

The surface is awesome ! I like your strata ! The underwater terrain is really beautiful ! You did an excellent job ! There's just a few problem with quadrilaterals in the bottom-left corner, as you said. A little postwork to take it away, and your picture will be perfect :-D

the strata looks great, perhaps a (very very) little too colourful(???) ;) the pov and the water...hmm.... :) awesome. i think it's good that you make a change, i don't think you can improve your canyon-photos ;) - too bad that in the left corner are quadrilaterals visible... but they can't make an excellent picture bad :)

Strange square surfaces on the bottom left corner, dunno why this happened. Your strata is a bit too straight, right, but this is an awesome work nonetheless, there is a great sense of depth, as if this canyon goes on forever, the lighting & atmo are perfect, and the textures too.

Pure majesty. I have to disagree with Sanosoke, no scale problem here, quite the opposite if anything, this is a tricky POV and it's been handled beautifully. This image is so delicate. What has been captured far outweighs any little glitches. Definately a Vote

Hi Bob ! Is it really your birthday ? If it is, well, have a very happy birthday and from the looks of it you gave yourself a very nice gift with this perfect composition !!! Love that very soft pastel look. The atmosphere is perfect. That shallow water gives it a very special look! As for those darn geometric forms, they seem to pop up at times in mine too and I must confess that I do process these in Photoshop at times and simply "rubberstamp" them out. They are not your fault anyway ! Excellent work as always Bob !
