In my mind I planned a dark and brooding render, then I started the postwork and this happened - so that's why she looks miserable. :)

There she is, the sad celtic shepherdess, left at the altar by her man- unknowing that he was kidnapped to the Faerie Realm that lay just beneath her feet through the mound. A very nice pice of work, intentional or not.

I love everything here. Everything balances like those birds flying in formation and the POV and the ruins on the top of the mountain. Postwork is amazig as usual and everything just is so picture perfect!

she looks so alone sitting there which is making her miserable or contemplating what she has to return to when she leaves :o) this image could lead to all kinds of different story lines it is perfect and so is she Chris :o)

Well Rose, this is an unbelievable piece of work. And I agree, I think the sad expression works here because it contrasts with the serene setting, so the viewer wonders what has hurt her so much. Your painting is extraordinary too. Wow, Rose. :O)))
