Description

My summer in the hills... Ok, this took so freakin' long to render!!!! I started it at about 2 PM and I let it go until I woke up the next morning! Apparently it had finished in the middle of the night. It took 9 hours, 8 minutes and 22 seconds to render! Modeled and rendered in Terragen Post-work in PS7 Enjoy!

Incredible, i always enjoy the makings of sun Rays and light. The atmo. is so xlt, i dunno wat to say. I love the reflections you gave the water, so realisitic like! Personally i would have added more colour to the terrain, maybe more green, it looks like sand and black ground, but thats either personal choice or terragen default. Great Job!! :D

The high reflection on the lake forms some strange angles and perspectives...love the color of the sky and the rays...nice work!! On the render time I have ya beat...23 hrs. and it turned out so bad I didn't even post it :)

Oh, you switched on the colours! Excellent rays! Water is always costly to render, but looking great! I just read your thread in the forum, so I just had to look around :-) Keep on rendering! Jens

actually, Joshus, the water wasn't what got me. The sky was about 2x larger (than normal), 7x higher, and had 3D clouds. Plus, I don't really have the fastest computer in the world.

Looks to me like that render time was well worth it. That atmosphere is superb!
