Calm before the impending and overdue trip to the edge '-)!
Looking for that late afternoon just before the storm kind of feel in this one...AND I wanted to stay in VUE for my textures but ended up resorting to Lemog for the tree texes after all'-)!

Wow, this is a great image. can't believe only one person has commented on it thus far. well then i shall take great pride in being number 2! Let's see. the title is very creative "Calm before the.." what? it kinda' lets you make up your own mind. since i like this so much i'll give you my opinion. "Calm before the Battle" to me, this scene reminds me of something from one of the Lord of The Rings movies which i am so fond of. great image very moody scenery here. keep it up. :)

Nobody can coax a better ground tex out of Vue than you can. I can see the storm coming, but it could be some big..something coming as well (You need some ominous music;-) Excellent!
