I think the darkness sets the mood for this and it works well for me. Great job. Not sure about the problem you described. It's never happened to me.

Wow! She reminds me of a very proud Drow Elf! If I were a Drow Elf warrior, I'd have a major crush! Love the pose and the composition! The sword is matched perfectly to her character!
