Description

This is the color version of an image I made for the June Challenge about dirt. Getting the right look for the oil texture was a pain but I guess it was worth it. Made entirely with Vue, except for the dolphin and weeds and the color correction.

Mannn!!!...I won't give a damn how bad this image and the effect turns out but you did well. Captivate me a lot! I'm feeling sad about the situation in this image. You really done it! Great composition and visual message delivered!

I agree with the above, and I think you did a real good job on the oil. I KNOW it wasn't easy. Anyhow, the "dirt" challenge is supposed to be posted in the Challenge Arena gallery, in order to be recognized by them. We also have a challenge for this month, which is a "concept" challenge, which is a little different than normal, and is called "An Alien Summer", so feel free to give that one a try too. :)
