Description

Well, I'm dreaming of: # more realistic clouds for tg # some vegetation and pebbles capabilities This one took me some time to complete for the clouds were all painted in photoshop. As I was a bit tired after this ;) I didn't paint the foreground but took a photo of Atle Gjerløw (check his wonderful portfolio, I'm pretty sure it'll inspire you!) Some stats: ~30min building the scene in tg ~30min rendering (2400x3200) ~20hrs of postwork (mainly on the clouds) You can see the flat tg render here Hope you'll like it ;) tfv&c

L'ensemble est bluffant. Je regrette da d'avoir postmon image l'instant. C'est tr beau, tr rssi. Pour les nuages j'oscille entre le parfait et le ... tr artistique.

C'est magnifique, et presque techniquement parfait. La seule petite restriction porte sur un certain c"filandreux" des nuages, un peu bizarre. Mais la base TG est superbe et le postwork vraiment digne d'oges. Mais, ce niveau d'intervention apr rendu, peut-on encore vraiment parler de Terragen ?

30 minutes on a huge resolution image like that? You must have a pretty fast computer. Those clouds are AWESOME! I agree with the improvements you want to see in TG. But, you know, TG is still a developing program. They might put stuff like that into the final one.

This is a masterpiece! The tg original render is excellent of course. You may be start again the question "How much postwork is allowed?". But this is so beautiful! You should be a painter! I'm glad you posted it here!
