Everybody knows the story of Cinderella.  Of course, it's a total fabrication.  The real story is,... well, a bit less clean.

Rendercella, a hairdresser from the south side of Chicago, was without doubt, gorgeous.  Despite her geographic location, her ample build, and her eternal air of innocence, simply put, she was a nimrod. She couldn't add two and two and come up with the same answer twice.  But, she was a genius with hair and make up,... and there were those magnificent assets of hers.  So, life went on and she moved from perm to cut to color job,... and nothing seemed to change.

Then one day, she heard that the politician formerly known as Prince was campaigning down her way, and being a devout Democrat (she often confused religion with politics, and rightfully so), she wangled a ticket to the gala ball from one of her clients. That night, she danced with the stars.  It was as if some fairy had dressed her in the finest fashions (in fact, Raoul had done just that, but his sexual orientation isn't the subject here), though she managed to show up without any slippers.  The politician formerly known as Prince was overcome by her beauty.  He fell madly in love and escorted her up to his suite for a night of mad passionate love.

The next day, of course, she immediately went to the press with a story of date rape.  The politician's career was instantly made.  With a good old sex scandal in his background, no one would forget his name.  He was elected by a landslide.  Six months later, with the money from the lawsuit, the talk show circuit, and the Jerry Springer show, Rendercella moved into a mansion on the northern waterfront and never cut hair again.

Fairy tale endings do come true, I guess.
