Description

Still trying to achieve realism in Bryce5. I used my own lighting system. Added a Radial light at 5 in the back of the room, shadows turned off. Then nine radial lights arranged to cover the upper part of the room, they are set at 3 with shadows turned off. Last, I put a radial light beside the phone to simulate radiosity. I wrote all of this, just in case there is someone who can spare some advice to make more realistic pictures. Most objets modeled in Wings3d.

Your lighting is effective. The guitar seems to be floating though. Is that a phone? Maybe scale it down, then you have achieved some good realism here.

Alot of good stuff here. Scale is key. You may want to in addition to the phone, look at the scale of the chairs to the "desk", as it leans more towards a coffee table in stature. you should be able to put you knees under the desk ?:>) BTW I love the way you have this lit, has a great morning feel, keep it up!

Yeah, the phone is big, I just realized that. And about the desk, well, is supposed to be a desk, but not to look like one. That's the way my uncle (a carpenter) used to set up tables to eat during lunch, a big plank on top of two large paint buckets :P the guitar isn't floating, it's just that it isn't casting any shadows. I'll check on that next time. Thanks for the comments.

Aye, I really like the lighting, although some materials are too ambient? Great work, though...

I would love to be in this room. It looks magical, yet homey. The colors, the lighting, the feel of it...it is wonderful! I love the chairs and the floor...everything in it. Excellent.
