Well, I need suggestions on that. The most realistic hair that I've seen around here is either the free Kozaburo stuff or Poser 5 dynamic hair. The latter works best on longer hair styles, though.
The most important key to realism is the lighting, though. And your lighting in this image is great!

Thanks to both of you for your comments:) Thanks Sydl for the suggestion, Kozaburos hair is really the most realistic free hair around, unfortunately even he doesnt has the hair what I want. Therefore I want to model it on my own. Thanks for the compliment on the lightning turns red:)
