Great show and a great tribute! Power up the wave motion gun! We used to quit whatever we were doing to rush to someones house and watch it each day. Blessings!

Beautiful image! I grew up with Star Blazers and it was one of my all-time favorites. Now let's see the Andromeda!

Awesome work, I love that show and still have the entire first season on VHS! THe planet turned out great, I wouldn't have thought of using Venus to mimic the radiation-torn Earth.

"saraba tskyu yo ude wa..." oh you would probably like the englisher version of hte opening lol ;) (and yes i know that one pretty much by hear as well) i grew up on starblazers/yamato as well. in fact it is the show that got me into anime when it was brought stateside in 1980. it was the best series on tv at the time even though it was originally made in 1973,it blew away all it's american competition with ease. that series will always be dear to anime fans both in japan and the US. cheers!

I grew up watching Star Blazers. Is the Yamato off to Iscandar or to fight the White Comet? Get the original version DVD "Space Battleship Yamato." It blew away the american version. Thanks for the blast from the past.
