Description

Ok, here's a render of a courtyard space at the site I am developing in Asheville, North Carolina...keep in mind this is still very much a work on progress. The spheres are fountains made of glass which are hollow. These spheres fill up with water, which spills out through an opening in the top, cascades down the sides and into the collecting pool (too much reflection blurring atm. I'll post more as the project evolves...and time permits since I have a presentation in DC this next week and this project due right when I return.

Great stuff! Can't really comment much on the render, but you have to be careful about glass spheres... you'll find that casting them in a single piece is going to be an absolute nightmare. We had a project in Beijing that was supposed to have three glass balls each a meter in diameter. Didn't happen... after a year of rejects and breaking them, had to go to a clear acrylic resin. :o(
