Nice job on the lighting in this, Gareth; reminds me of a stage setting for an opera like "Aida".

Very attractive image, and yes, it reminds me of operatic sets, too. :-) At first I thought the two cultures were "ancient" and "modern" due to the contemporary lighting, but I like the idea of mixing Egyptian and Mayan architecture. Cool work!

Very interesting... little note: the spotlights on the ground... as you designed them should not create any ray of light on the ground... if you want light on the ground the way it is now, your spotlights need to have some sort of opening on the side that goes all around it, which might not work... but a series of openings would, which in turn would force you to create shadows in the light reflexion on the ground to match the design... this is not a critism, just mearly an observation... Good Work... ;)

Extremely interesting idea. The lights on the architecture are great with a nice contrast against the sky.

Gotta agree about the lighting, it reminds me of the James bond film whose title eludes me at the mo, that has a night scene in Egypt. Well done.
