Description

This one took a while to render. I think it was over 3 hours. And it didn't even turn out like I wanted it to. Could anyone inform me on how to make rays of sunlight? Modeled and rendered in Terragen Post-work in PS7 Enjoy!

I'd like to help but I'm awful at atmos! Try www.terrasource.net for lists of Terragen tutorials. You can Google them easily enough too. Nice pov and mood in the pic, btw!

Sky looks nice, though it seems to end too soon. In the Terragen Forum here there is a very informative thread. Ronjrah asked the same question like you!

Rays, wow, so many variables. A basic place to start is , make sure you check cloud cast shadows, and terrain cast shadows, move the density contrast up to 200, and density shift from 0-40, and have the sun come in from the side. Up the altitude to about 200 and sky size to 10000. Then start playing around with the cloud size. If you can't get it send me IM and will help you all I can.
