Description

Lighthouse model by (fellow MojoNaut)Dan Whiteside.. Postwork in Photoshop and PhotoImpact. I tried using a spotlight and a point light,but the lack of a Volumetrics in the Atmosphere didn't give me the effect I wanted. I'm still not totally satisfied with this, but I've made some progress, in my own mind.. Thanx for stopping by

Nice work Bruce. That's something I wanted to tackle at some point but didnt get around to do it yet. Perhaps the tower and light is a bit to sharp compared to the rest. I really like the ray.

I think it looks really good, the angle of the beam might be lowered in relation to the ground for more realism; but it pretty well kicks some booty like it is.

I don't know why... I never expected to see a human touch (the lighthouse) in a Mojo World piece. It does so much. I like everything about this Bruce.

I too have tried to get this effect with the spot and point lights without any luck....I must keep trying..this is just the kind of beam Ive been looking for.....great work Bruce!!
