When I stare into the darkness
Will the darkness see or have seen me?
To feel the angst of the unknown
The sound of a heartbeat not my own
Memories of an ancient evil past
The demons of the dark, they do laugh
For the sins of my life it was foretold
My soul I will give the darkness to hold
An eternity I have lived in vain
A life of tortuous pain
For all I long to have, to but ease the pain
Is the softness of your lips
as you whisper my name
Hope - I have not, Live to Live Not
