Description
I LOVE my Canon EOS Digital Rebel! A few weeks ago, I said, "Who needs an SLR?" I don't need to snap pictures that quickly."
I quickly learned how wrong I was. ;-)
This is a Harris Hawk from Earthquest: http://earthquest.org/ Earthquest comes to the AZ Rennaissance Festival each year to educate people about birds of prey. I hope to become good enough with the camera to get a good shot of their Peregrine Falcon in flight. (It can go over 170mph in a dive, so I need more practice!) :)
I hope you enjoy the picture as much as I did taking it!

Cool shot Cres!

Nice photo! Bummer you missed part of the wing, but still a nice picture. With the old SLR you may have got off serveral more shots, instead of just one.

Great action shot. Nice 'n clear.

Excellent action shot, raptors are incredible. You get a good picture of a peregrine in a stoop at 170 mph, and I'll mail you the beer of your choice anywhere in the world. Keep it up, this is great. Fun, too, ain't it?

Wonderful shot. Wanted to get some of these with an IXUS last year .. no chance. Have to try that once again with a SLR ... :)
