If you just improved the design, this would be a real good work of art. The problem with design is that it seems just too simple. I bet it propably took a lot of time to make but the view of the observer is different than the one of the creator. If you just added some carvings, like little holes on the circle or something similar the picture would get a lot more depth to it. The thing that stands out the most is the texture you used. I absolutely admire how it goes from the rusty,metalic look on the lower part to the shiny, glassy texture on the top. By the way...What is it?

I like this a lot. The mysterious quality of the object makes the work for me. Nicely modeled. Like to see a bit of background but very cool so far!
