Description
Thanks to Lil' Dragon for letting me know about how to convert a OPT to a 3DS format!
This is just me playing around with an E-Wing. I had never seen them before now, and they look pretty cool.

Cool image - nice sense of speed. As a suggestion though, re-arrange the ships a bit so they are not all on the same plane - give the image a sense of 3d-space and the ships moving willy-nilly through it. Nice work!

I don't know if you remember Ellpro, but I've been checking out your uploads constantly, and I actually commented on an excellent one, have always been a fan of course. Anyway I'm curious, are you going to be changing to this style/type of picture?

I have such eclectic tastes, I doubt there will be any kind of a permanent change to Sci-Fi. John Hoagland and I are on a total Star Wars kick (see his site at http://www.vanishingpoint.biz ). I just need to get them out of my system. Don't worry, a cool dragon pic is coming soon! :)

Excellent SW action scene! Whew, three of them on his tail!

Top stuff! You can't have enough starwars in here LOL. I agree with libernull, you may want to have the TIE's re-arranged to give the pic a bit of urgency! But what do I know? EXCELLENT

And at that range, I'd think the TIEs would be shooting too.

Excellent feel about it. I love the movement you've achieved. Really like the flame burst from the e-wing engines. Fantastic.

The movement and thrust coming from the E-wing's engine are excellent! I'd never seen or heard of E-wings before, but hey it was a long time ago. :) And I disagree with the others who asked for the TIE's to be put on a separate plane. Anybody who grew up with the original trilogy knows the technical limitations of the time - this render is true to the original Star Wars in its original form, where ships moved through space as though rigged together with large steel rods (which they probably were!)

Nice Image could have been used as promotional material for star wars.

I'm a bit LATE to this party...but I think the TIGHT FORMATION of the T.I.E. fighters is pretty correct from the films...they always held a tight formation...even at breakneck pursuit speeds... at least that's what I recall...but I'm old... =D an ion blast would be welcome, though! =) good stuff!!!
