Description

I was out looking for a "lost Treasure" in the lava beds. I knew I wouldn't find the treasure, but it keeps me busy and at least I can say I tried/looked. I spotted a broken wagon and started walking towards it. Whoa boy stop. In the under brush I spotted a rattler and a Skelton. The Skelton was sun baked and very old. Maybe that was his wagon. I looked around and found what looked like torn bits of canvas and 2 empty old bladder water bottles. The head of a shovel and pick. I'll assume he was a prospector, maybe looking for the same Treasure I was. I hope I don't end up like him. Got to keep a eye on Mr. Rattler. I guess he is guarding the bones. I sat down and realized that this was the last view many people saw back in the 1800's, and even a few since. The Desert can be a unforgiving area, but the lava beds with there thin surface bubbles and knife sharp edges is a killer. I looked at the bones, said a silent prayer for the old guy and walked off to look for that Treasure.. VistaPro and PSP for post

Agree with Patt - everything about this image is amazing, but the skeleton's just awesome. Great pov, and brilliant story - love the atmosphere. V
