Description


The Arrival

The Story...
I was going to write stories to go along with the images in this series, but got to thinking, maybe it would be better to let each viewer dream there own scenario, instead of me dictating it to you. I have my ideas as of what it could be, but I'll let each of you create your own. I think it has more mystery that way. I will explain a little however. An Alien space probe is reaching a new world to explore. We see here the images it's transmitting back to wherever it came from. So take it from there, the rest can be up to you.

The Creation Side...
OK, as you can see, theres a lot of post work. :P The three largest planets are terragen, the two small Bryce rocks, and the rest PS6. The ocean on the center planet was made with photoshop overlays from Bryce images with the same lighting. As always, thanks for looking and comments!

wow, this is so kewl! the image conjures up sooo many possibilities. texture and lighting is wonderful, especially on the large blue planet. excellent work, very creative! cant wait to see the next part!! ;D

Excellent concept - brilliant sci-fi feel to the image, and look forward to the next in the series. The scene's been set, so it'll be interesting to see what happens - does it crash, does it get shot down or does it just move on to another world ? Love the PW BTW - sensor displays are excellent.
