Description

When I'm rich, I'm going to have a large house near a lake and I will have a pool house for when it's too cold to swim in the lake. Bryce model and render, very little post. Benches by derjimi.

Excellent lighting - I can almost feel the sun on that brickwork... water mat is extremely good too.

I think the water level of the lake outside should be lower, I think, unless its a floating house. Also, the lights don't look very good. Lights are bright, but they have some reflection and diffusion from the glass. Other than these things, it's perfect. Lighting is awesome, great work!!!

Spectacular! I've always dreamed of my own pool house, too.

I agree with what Venishi said about the water level and the lightglobes. Perhaps just use a glass material with a bulb inside? Still, other than that, it's nearly flawless! The water really looks good, and has jut the right amount of turbulence!

About the lights.... They are fine. My grandmother's old house had lights almost exactly like that. They were "Soft Lights" or something like that. The material around them doesn't provide much glare, and a nice outside ring, equally bright. I do have one thing to add. The tiles look REALLY waxed, so I'm not going to be walking in there unless there are some mats down. Great image! (When can I visit it?) -Graphy

Thanks for the suggestions. The light globes are diffusers. Similar to one I had in my kitchen. It's a mat surface so doesn't reflect. I've created them like shadow said, but as a solid glass sphere, maybe I should make them hollow. As for the water surface, yeah, that was a cheat. The pool and the lake are the same plane. But I'm thinking that the pool is fed water from the lake (heated of course), so would probably have to be the same level. ;-)
