Description

I'm not entirely happy with this, couldn't get the shore exactly how I wanted it, also I'm a little dissapointed about how the terrain came out, but you get the jist, I might try a remake. Please tell me what you think t4v Sacha

Very nice sky, but the shoreline needs a little more work. However did you achieve the aurora effect in the sky?

It is still a beautiful composition. The shoreline is angular and sharp but it creates an off worldly effect with the unusual lighting. The choice of colors is marvellous. The pov is very good. I think u dont need a remake for this, if u classify the as sci-fi or fantasy. It even does very well as atmo/mood. Excellent. Very excellent.

Outstanding image, except for what you said needed work. Really cool atmospheric effects.

Terrain and shore are a litle polygonal, but the water, surface, atmos and lighting are all great!

Beautiful composition! I like it! I don't know your terrain size, but I solved the same problem once by increasing the terrain size (from 1025 to 2049), eroding it only a little (thermal) in WM, readjusting the height. I've seen these rays before... :-)

joshus_hund: I'm still using the unregistered version of TG so I am unable to use a larger terrain size than 513, trust me, I would increase the size if I could

This will be PERFECT without the (little) defaults you know. Excellent atmo/work/compo !

Sacha, this is a gorgeous render. What you need to do is delete the SortaSurf and use the Terragen Shore foam instead. Play with the density setting until you get what you need. I think you should re-render this work after you have done what I suggested...good luck.

I like this picture a lot. I agree with choronr about the SortaSurf. Other than that, it's very, very pretty.
