Very eerie! I definitely mean that as a compliment too. The desaturation of color here really brings the lighting and the figures into focus. The DOF also adds tremendous depth... I thought it might have been overdone, but after staring at it for several minutes... perfect. :o)

Material efx is really sublime: I love it ! Wonderful concept. I found some (a little bit far, but) similarity with Giacometti art, this feel so good. Just (and this is a personal point of view) the hands poses give me the impression this people cry in the pain a strange mood, and yes like I told, is a personal view.
