Description

Borobudur is a stepped pyramid on a quadrangular plan. It had been built on and over a natural hill so, like a stupa, it has no interior space. There is no roof and all of its galleries and terraces are open to the sky. The lowest level has a square floor plan, each side 370 feet long. Melody and Nina rode on Jet surfboard to fly over the steps. Borobudur is very hot place but fresh air on the Jet surfboard is comfortable to them.

Incredible architecture. I really like it a lot. As always, those surf boards look so dangerous, but it looks like the twins are having fun!

They look thrilled to be zipping down the steps on a cushion of air. Fantastic sense of ethnic inhibitons to the temple and statuary.

So sorry I'm so late to comment~ I did take a peek, a while back but was to beat to do more then look.
I'm always checking in when everyone else is sleeping, LOL
I like this, except it doesn't seem to have your usual amount of lighting~ and I'm a little worried of the girls fallin' off that jet surfboard, at that angle. They seem to be leaning a wee bit past their centers of gravity~ or it could be just the way I'm seeing things lately, LOL.

beautiful work! The girls are either very experienced on the jet surfboard or they have no fear! The magic of art allows one to forget the need for weight anchoring (the necessary positioning to guard against inertia - movement), but it would have been nice to have seen the girls leaning against the direction they are moving in slightly. Irrespective, that is but a small observation; your skill in every other aspect of your creations far outweighs that little notion. Congratulations again on another gorgeously detailed piece!

Another brilliant exercise, keying on "threeness" (too sensual to be "Peircean" perhaps)metal (including the blue dress flak jackets), stone, and, say,"fluid" (water, sky, cloud, etc.)all under an "umbrella" of "light" and "dark", hehe. Meteorological, of coursephysiological too (and very ancient), and strictly as "contemporary" image, eliciting musings on the different import and "moods" of "black and white" (rod and cone, night and day) versus "color." Again very subtle, and provocative...Etymology of "templum" also pertinent....
