Lord Hypnos,
thy brother is Death.
you are but a shallow breath
apart from him.
Long nights have you layed upon me.
Painting my skin with colors
far too bright for such a deep shade of midnight.
Flooding my mind
with your dying rose of inspiration.
A lingering dream that keeps
only moments in the sweet warmth
of a rising sun.
Like a dewey kiss that dries,
smelling of soil and grass.
The bruise of your lips remains,
where you pressed me into slumber.
You silenced me and left me mute.
Be fickle, Hypnos.
Plague some other would be lover.
Caress some stronger soul than mine.
There is too much dissapointment
in your afterglow.
What a drug is sleep.

Just as beautiful. For me its main strength is all the white, the negative space in the top left quarter... composition top notch and it benefits from being in black and white. Great one :-)
