Description

Sorry.. I couldn't help but be a *little* irritated by this comment on my image of the P4 male.... Xena wrote: "Would be a great texture if it wasn't a photo overlay. If you ever do get a texture and facial morphs to look this good on the P4 man let us all know!" I am uncertain of the reasoning behind this comment but I am not in the habit of misrepresenting my work and here is the *dork* in the same scene.. no hair..skin partially invisible and unadorned. I believe this shows that his facial morphs and texture are authentic. His body coloring is different because as I mentioned in the original image.. he is a WORK IN PROGRESS Thank you

WOOOO, I don't personally know either of you, but given LadyLights past track record of art here in the galleries, I'd DEFINATELY believe this is her work, and not a photo overlay. STILL is the most gorgeous P4 dork I've ever seen!! Can't wait to see this WIP in it's final state :)

Why can't we all just, y'know, get along, and love each other, like? I too was most impressed with what you'd done with th P4 male, perhaps Xena meant it as a compliment? ....maybe? :)

1, I am probably LadyLights BIGGEST fan....her work never ceases to amaze me. For anyone to even DARE to cast aspersions on her ability just really ticks me off. I totally believe she is doing an amazing texture for the P4 Dork...and if it anywhere near the quality of her other work, I know it is going to be totally amazing. (Sitting here PRAYING I would be so lucky as to test it) Xena, I know you, and it really surprises me that you would even Make a comment like that :(

perchance the texture and morphs were so good that it was disbelieved as a poser render? tis disheartening.. as both ladies are dear friends of mine... I"m certain Xena wouldn't cast aspersions nor would Ladylight be dishonest... perchance it's a case of different cultures? sometimes what may seem an insult is in fact a compliment... then perhaps tis my fault... if so then I"m deeply sorry...

Whaaaa??? Image overlay??? Huh??? From LL? Umm...nnnoooooo...not in this lifetime. LL is "extremely" gifted in her ability to make things look real, "without" shortcuts and deceptions. Sooo...here's the proof. I have seen her work firsthand, and her skill with anything she touches is always magnificent, once she learns the ropes. She is the "wrong" lady to accuse of such a thing. It is not in her nature to do something like that. Please apologize to her, as she has great pride in her work, and to make such an accusation is totally out of order.

I can see where the image overlay idea would have come from. The head was blue, and the body was orange, thus giving the illusion of two seperate models. I know that you are hurt LL, and I am truly sorry for your pain. You are an incredible artist, and you know that we have all seen the magic in your art, and we love it. However, I am more than unhappy with a lot of the comments posted here regarding Xena's artistic prowess. (She too is an incredible artist in her own right, and she also works hard to achieve the realism in her work that we all strive for). Two wrongs don't make a right. I think there are apologies needed from this camp as well. My sincerest wish LadyLight is that you can go on from this, and forgive the innocence of the mistake. I honestly do not believe that the comment was a "personal" attack on your skill, but rather the recognition of the two render type body colours. It could have been worded differently, thereby minimising the damage, but when all is said and done, we need to remember that we all make mistakes. Forgiveness is the key to growth. I hope you all find the room in your hearts to forgive each other, and stop this anger and destruction from going any further. hugs

Both are pretty sharp images, but I prefer the non-ghosted one. ;] As someone who knows what can be done with a lot of hard work on the dork... I have no problem seeing the facial work. Also, having looked real hard at both images, I can see where the comment that sparked this was coming from. It would be an easy call to make.

I think it odd that SacredRose is telling LadyLight to apologize to Xena over this, when Xena has not in fact apologized to LadyLight for the original slight. :-|

Look carfully, and its more than obvious that the render was done in Poser. Poser renders by multiplying colors by the lighting, a unique effect, much different than bryce, max, or lightwave, and obliterated where photo overlays are used. Very obvious that the facial detail is some very superb texture work, you rock LadyLight, cant wait to see the finished product and the magnificiat works you'll do with it! :)

Lovely Lovely image! I know this is a WIP...Have seen the texture & it is not a layover :-) Course I never would have thought there would be some who would actually right click & tear apart a pic. shakes her head. OH well. AWESOME WORK LL! hugs

I most have missed viewing a few of LadyLights works. I've check out the original picture in quetion. By applying filters and sharping the image, I could see the tell tail signs. It is the face of a Poser figure! I found I could see the Upper eyebrows that we all make tranparent and no sign of a pixal difference. Sorry Xena you were mistaken.

This is no photo overlay this is a real P4 Man workup. I work with P4 man too as well as posette and although it may take a bit longer to achieve, work like this is very possible. I agree with the others though do not let one persons negative comment affect you. Now that you've shown this person their error perhaps they will apologise if they arent too embarrassed or prideful to do so after jumping out on a limb like they did here. Keep up the good work and I for one would like the morphs if they are available thank you!
