Description

I saw the squall coming. Had to get the crew together to get the ole girl under-way. Rousting the crew out of a bar be hard work. I know the crew will pull us through. I see the bands of black and blue gray clouds closing in. "Get her into the Wind" The crew is slow and the waves are crashing over the deck. "Get them Sails up" 2 men just be washed over board disappearing under the white caps. Rain so hard and heavy it hurts when it hits you, batters you to the deck. The Main mast sail tore and the mizzen snapped. "Tie the sails off to the pins. Hold on the steering sails mates" It be too late. we can't make the inlet, we be going to run the ole girl aground. Davey Jones will have company tonight. All TG

Wow! Superb atmosphere in this picture Frank - can almost feel the squall, and certainly wouldn't want to be out in this weather. Sea looks very rough, and the story is superb!! Real change of scene here, from Ghost Towns to high seas adventure, and it's worked brilliantly. Excellent work++, and V

Super fantastic job. That heavy atmosphere is something totally different and great. Been in murk like this, made the bayou before it hit though. Crap like that will sure get the ole adrenilin going, makes a person glad to be alive.

XLT atmo. I love the fact that you almost don't see the terrain on the far right. You really achieved a heavy rain day. Nice water colours too.

Now that be a gully washer! I think I see the Ark in the distance. Only suggestion I have is make more surf, because the water is obviously more turbulent than that, and make your waves bigger.
