balance is needed here. Simply put another pic in another frame and put it on the left side or his right. All.

nice work on the character, I find my eyes drawn to the character and the splash behind, maybe the room isn't needed?

I agree the focal point is definitely the character with the splash of color int he b/g... which looks good... I'd concentrate on that... nice work :o)

Not completely sure without playing around with it personally (I change things up a dozen times before deciding) but I think if it were me.. I would change the background wall color.. maybe texture it and have it lighter.. and move the pic to the left of him to balance the chair on the right. Just a thought :) It's looking good!
