Description

This image portrays Princess Tala, who was the victim of her own fears. She told others that a demon was chasing her and that she could not shake him. No one believed her, and one night in a fit of fear, she threw herself off the second floor balcony. She is buried with the inscription in the image. This picture is one of personal emotion for me, as it portrays my own demon of fear, that I am hesitant to face in regards to health issues that have to be decided on soon. Comments are welcomed. Thanks for looking and your support. It means a lot. Poser/VuePro/Photoshop/Painter The background was created in VuePro and after several crashes to get it to do it, I am going back to Vue 4. The girl and the face were rendered in Poser. The whole thing was then composited in Photoshop/Painter. The walls were created by me in Lightwave and the candle holders are a combination of ToxicAngel's awesome free candles, and the arm of V2. Credits: Image, Hallway walls and Poem by ShadowWind The face is V3 with standard maps Princess Tala is played by Mandi by Dark Whisper (painted some by me) Candles by Toxic Angel Arm holders are V2 from Daz Frame by der-jimi in FreeStuff, pic is Ghosts of the Manor I by ShadowWind (in my gallery)

The color sense in this image is wonderful. The character is an apparition of both dread and beauty. The candle holders on the wall are exceptional details that really make this image rich and gothic.

Strength, my friend, and peace of mind.

Don't let it win - they die and bleed like us. Stab your demon, merciless, don't let it haunt you further. Only then will you feel free again. From someone who's slayed one of her own ghosts. Heve strength, my friend! All my thoughts go with you. The pic?... No words to describe the feeling it gives... horrorful beauty...Wonderful!

I don't know how you do it Shadow! I actually got the shivers from this one. Her face is just incredibly stunning. And her personal demon is enough to make even the best of us quiver. You are a true master of lighting and content Shadow. Your works are ALWAYS a pleasure to view. As to personal demons, j-art is so very correct. You are never alone.

Excellent colors and surreal expression. Love those candleholders, very ingenious. The shadows and distortions show well how fear alters the truth of what we perceive. Well done.

Artistically speaking Shadow, the image is a genuine fearful one that causes the viewer to experience real emotion - more so when one knows that it represents an inner personal conflict. You have certainly achieved an eerie almost hauntingly striking image here, I think in part from the near madness portrayed in the glaring eyes of the unfortunate victim's personal demon. One of the biggest eye opening experiences I have come across in Renderosity, is in how many of us are not physically well and are fighting our own brand or demons. As both J-Art and Dragonmagic59 said, you are in fact, never alone, even if only one person out of all of us genuinely care - get on with your life my friend - you are too precious to lose to such things.

HUGS What a beautiful image. I'm allowing all sorts of fears interfere with decisions too, but I'm sure not like your own, but I'm deciding that fear is only there to help you weigh out and decide to a point then you have to put it behind you and get on with what is good for you. You only get to have good health if you keep it..and to keep it you have to put that fear behind you now. HUGS What a gorgeous image too.. very poignant.

You have certainly captured the intent of your work here. Running away from our fears is something we all do at times and I know you will make the decisions you need to make when you need to make them. I certainly understand your plight as I am sure many of us do. Your work with the demons that chase us is so well done. The look on his eyes is alive with that fear. Again, you are able to accomplish what so many of us only wish we could do! Have a wonderful day!...Cheryl
