There's a method of working with hot glass in which the color core is encased in a clear overlay to accentuate it... This reminds me very much of that, with the underlying golden color flattered and showcased by the transparent encasement. Very striking image!

What seadreamer says is right on, I thought "encased" described it well. Like golden spheres pushing to the surface of a thin film. Wonderful inner glow displayed here. Nice one!
