Description
By using a proprietary method of ray-trace imagery I create images of objects that do not exist in the real, or virtual, world.
Ray-traced art is called virtual reality because the objects depicted are virtual - existing only within program parameters. My process takes the art one step beyond virtual reality and can be rightly termed metareality because the objects in my images are not defined but are the result of the process itself.
My images are characterized by a broad range of shape and textural detail and dimensionality. Objects are generally organic in appearance, occasionally whimsical in nature, sometimes mysterious and always rich in eye interest.
