Long overdue that I've changed my lil blurb on here....so here goes! Â I'm Stacey and I've been into Poser since 2003. Â Seems like only yesterday and then IÂ realize it's been 6 years! Â IÂ love art in all forms and truly do love getting to meet so many wonderful artists from this site. Â It's one of the best things about this community. Â
More on the me from behind the screen.....let's see.... Life can be a little hectic and IÂ relish every single moment! Â I've got 4 terriffic kids and live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Â We're home to some of the world's most beautiful beaches and it's a great place to live. Â Cant' really say anything bad about the panhandle unless you count hurricane season, which I hate! Â But it's just a few months of the year to be a little more prepared and then life here is nice and easy.
Other then art, I love the outdoors. Â I have an affinity for the color orange although I don't wear it unless it's hunting season. Â I've played most sports you can imagine and look forward to adding a new one this fall with roller derby. Â And yes I promise to add a picture of me (if I get one I like) in my gear during a bout. Â Guess it shows I'm just a fun-loving person and I live up to my favorite adage "Growing older doesn't mean you have to Grow Up!"
Thanks for visiting my lil corner!

the only help I can give that you need shadows where the hair lies down. The hair painting looks realy good considering it's with a mouse

Very lovely :} Maybe a slight shadow where her skin meets the ponytail :} It is still outstanding though :}

Can't give you any pointers, cuz I don't really know how to postwork hair. There are plenty of hair tutorials to looks at tho. All I can say it, find one that you are comfortable with and keep practicing. Nice image btw.

The hair looks great. Has a nice variety of different tones to it. Try to soften it up a little around the hair line using a small (12pt or smaller based on render size) brush under the natural brushes...normal smudge setting....at about 64%. That should help a little bit. Also, experiment with the dodge and burn tools on a Highlight setting. You'll notice a bit difference. Other than that...WONDERFUL!

When working on faces and hair, nothing helps me more than to have a decent sized mirror next to my computer :). Even if the gender is different, it provides good insight and you notice highlights and shadows alot more. Avengia has some really good tips and JV is right that there are alot of great tutorials out there. Try working in small, not very opaque strokes and add highlights. A tablet will help put the orginal, flowing feel into the hair. For a little bit of added realism, you can also put a slight shadow under the hair on the neck. Mousework is tough. You did a good job with it.
