Description
Like Heaven, Hell is a 3D image with traditional inking (on Dura-Lar) over top of the digital image. Here's a little excerpt from my page:
Hell strikes again! Wow! This one was more of a challenge than I thought it would be! I started by using Higgins ink and a Speedball. It was working great, but I noticed after about 30 minutes that I was getting a gray, not black for my line. It wasn't transparent either, it was just gray. I went back to my Microns, especially my Brush Micron, and said: "Screw it!" and went wild. I was very loose with the Brush Pen. After scanning the problems began. I got a really bad "halo" around the blacks on this one, and had to do a lot of clean-up (an hour or so). And since it was on black, any bit of halo showed up white. FUN. FUN. FUN. I added the cowl to the cape, bringing some more red into the entire image.
Total Inking time: 1 hour. Total digital compositing of Inks: 2 hours.

This is drawn? or a model? If you wanted to create a drawn look with a model you did it. If you drew it it's pretty good. I definate like how clear the spawn logo is. That's my favorite part and the green going up to it.

Thanks for the compliments. All my work is 3D, sometimes with traditional inks over top. Now I just need all of you to email Todd McFarlane and tell him he needs these images as covers for Spawn, and I would the happiest guy around!!!! :P Thanks again, patrick j. clarke
