Description

...deep in the jungles of my mind :) I was gonna enter this in the bryce monthly challenge, but I got sick and couldn't finish on time (I blame having to walk 2 miles to class in the rain, getting soaked and sitting in overly air-conditioned classrooms for the next 3 hours--next time it rains I'm ditching). I know the plants would look more at home here with fern leaves, but I couldn't find any. C'est la vie, I had fun making this, anyway. Enjoy, and all comments and critiques are welcome! Update: I added more specularity to the plants as per muddygrub's suggestion, I do think it's an improvement, thanks! I didn't think such a small change merited a separate post, though, so I just changed the image

Color choice is fantastic and great job with the vegetation. It looks pretty humid, so maybe a bit more specularity for the leaf textures. Love the waterfall. They're very hard to do in bryce and you've done a great job. I especially love how the top blends. Now go get yourself an umbrella for school!

Totally impressed with your waterfall, they are quite difficult in Bryce.

Only one suggestion, hon... try using an umbrella next time you have to go out in the rain!
This is a lovely image. But, i dunno, i think i'd have added some sort of interest somewhere withing the left background. Just seems a bit repetitive in that area. Still, far beyond what i could do, so i'm totally impressed!
