Description

"All Aboard!" called the pint-sized engineer and in the glorious flash of a moment the old rusting locomotive is back in it's glory days gleaming in the afternoon sun. The smoke billows from its stack and the steam pulses through the pistons! Thundering accross the miles, they only stop to take on passengers or rescue a damsel in distress tied to the tracks by some dastardly villan. Ah the joy of being appreciated again, if only for an afternoon. Soon the sun will set and all will be quiet again, but for now there are another thousand miles to cover and a dynamite charge under a bridge with a lit fuse to race against and barely get accross before it blows into a billion tiny bits... Perhaps this is even better than when it really rode those lonesome rails. Maybe he'll come back and play again some time. Wouldn't that be wonderfull. Having Poser now, I couldn't help but make this sequal to "From days gone by." I hope you enjoy this moment from my imagination. Vue4 on a Mac; No postwork; All textures by me. The material is brilliant. Ok, not shiny of course but the rust looks veeery dirty. Great one. Reminds me that i have to do something with those materials.

Imagination is wonderful, isn't it? Lovely image, and the lighting is just perfect. Like the contrasts between the rusty materials and the greens.

Great image. I know of a couple of those old engines that are collecting rust the same as this one. The rust materials are a welcome addition to my materials library. :o)

Very fun image George. We had one similar to this in a junk yard when I was a kid. Great fun and place to play.
