Description

Although a boring still-life, I had fun with the textures. Since textures are one of my weakest areas, I continue to work on it.

You gotta be kidding! Weak areas? Well, I guess everything's relative. Anyhow, I love this. Is the red blotch blood? Or paint? If it's blood, it's maybe a little too bright and monotoned. Otherwise I think this is perfect. Beautiful work.

Tip to fix the blood....unless you want to perfect your texturizing. Take a bit of burgundy (dark red-purple) and drop it in the center. Set your smudge tool to like 3 pixels and 75-100% and smear it inside.
