I think this is an excellent pic Raj! Like I told you on messenger it just stands out, like wow! such vibrant colors... maybe you need to give the viewer a little background about the image as you did me? Excellent portrait and contrasts.

I think it is a nice change to see you reflect some local Indian culture. The rich tapestry of colours in that country is intoxicating i.e. markets, clothes &c. Can we see more please. Brings back memories for me.

The Sub Continent I have never Visited...Dear SNAKEY...so much magic and colour in such a diverse Country and People....You would bring much pleasure to show it....as for this....high colour and vivid frame, which goes hand and hand with the People of India. Bravo :]

The photo is excellent Snakey. It still disturbs me when I think about the conversation I had with you about this photo. The fact that this very poor woman has a bare child, but has real gold in her nose and silver on her toes bothers me. My heart goes out to them, nonetheless, but still....

It's hard to understand the message of this image without some background.... so I can only guess the circumstances... A fabulous image! Beatiful street photo!

I like the shot as a shot. I have the strange feeling there is a lot of sadness behind the facade. The remarks about gold is silly, without she could not make money anymore. Poor people, damn the miljonairs.
