"Mysterious Ways" By RnRWoman (c) 2004 Yeah... I know it's been a long time since I've uploaded to the Galleries. I've been feeling a lil run down and uninspired recently. But now I'm starting to get into the swing of things a lil bit (knock oon wood.) Mostly, as for my Bono character, there is something about it when I was using my "sewn together" texture before (lil bits of different textures I have), that didn't seem to totally satisfy me. It didn't feel "real" enough to me. And also just something about his face didn't quite scream "Bono" to me. The first obvious problem was the skin texture of course as I just explained. Finding the appropriate one is hard, since "Irish" or European skin textures are hard to find. Especially with the right amount of flush and pink to their tone. Wandering through the Marketplace I found "Robert" and something said "this could work!" to me. I found one other texture I was debating on getting for him. I asked at the Renderosity forums posting an example render w/ a reference pic, and EVERYONE voted for Robert that posted. Trying it out it works perfect! A few lil tweaks and he has a whole new refreshed, realistic look and I feel pleased with it. Playing around in Poser with this new found texture, and in PSP and the old fur plugin I somehow got a render I am happy with by accident. Usually I like to paint with my Wacom. But I thought this looked rather cool in an edgey sort of way. So here is my "Bono" morph w/ Morris' "Robert" texture, with slight tweaks (I had a different set of lips on it but I decided to use the default and lil tweaks to make the eyebrows thicker.) She's a very nice Renderosity Merchant, very friendly and thanked me for considering her product. AND her products are very realistic!
