Ello! My name is Alison.I'm 43 goin on 22 and live in the mountain state of West Virginia. ~_^
I've always had a great love for art and literature.I've been doing computer generated art for several years now and I love it. I was also a tattoo artist for a year or so and DJ'ed at the local pub.Did a brief stint in law enforcement as a matron for the US Marshal Service and I was a motorcycle riding fiend.Had my own bike even.A Honda Rebel.Ex-hubby had 3 Harley's. Someday plan to ride again.Miss it alot. I also have two beautiful daughters (Ryan-21 and Jayda-13). I'm a bit of a clown and ya never know what I might say or do.Definately a smart arse but strangely loveable...mostly. Muah ha! Glad to have found this artistic community and a place to share ideas and visions with others.

That texture is almost touchable! I love the brooding colours and the lighting is wonderful. Is this just Apophysis? If so perhaps you'd be willing to write a tutorial on how to achieve something similar? :-) I'm sure I'm not the only one here who'd be interested!

Yep,its all apophysis (with a kaliedoscopic spin on the lower corner of same image). It's using just the linear variation with only three transforms using the spiral batch 2 script and I already made a tutorial of sorts.Theres a link to it on Marks tutorial page. Its very basic. :)

Congratulations. With so many flames around these days it's tough to come up with an image as outstanding as this one. The gradient is a real keeper.
