Description
"One night you're bathed in light, one day you're carried away in storms...." - Neil Peart
There are times I rise early and climb hills with the hope of acheiving satisfying images; much of the time they escape my camera's eye. So much effort for nought... but then an enigmatic moment appears evanescently -- such is the one shown above -- from the dashboard of my car, at a light, on my way to work. With very little effort, I turned my camera on, relaxed at the red light and got the shot before it turned green. Inexplicable.
Postscript, this photo was taken at 3:30 pm, 3/4/04; skies remained dark and ominous a day after a powerful storm left southern California for elsewhere.

This one touches my soul - it couldn't be any more beautiful - or beautifully framed... incredible shot

...I just love this shot! -- reminds me of bus trips at night - rolling through the country side on a long trip - half asleep - stuck in some crazy reclining angle and just watching the telephone wires looping along --- wonderful piece.
